Bloom Equity Partners Expands Soutron Global's North American Footprint with Acquisition of Biblionix

Biblionix adds cloud-native library systems for smaller public libraries and K-12 schools, completing Soutron Global’s coverage of the U.S. public library market. The combined platform now services more than 7,000 U.S. public libraries and supports institutions on three continents.

New York, NY – August 2026 – Bloom Equity Partners, a New York City-headquartered software and services-focused private equity firm, today announced that its portfolio company Soutron Global has acquired Biblionix, Inc.

Biblionix, of Austin, Texas, builds Apollo, a cloud-native integrated library system (ILS) for smaller public libraries, and Artemis, a companion ILS for K-12 school libraries.

This is Soutron Global’s third acquisition in two years, and it closes the last open segment of the company’s U.S. public library coverage. Apollo serves smaller libraries, while VERSO, which was added as part of Auto-Graphics acquisition in 2025, serves mid-size libraries and consortia. Because the two products sit at opposite ends of the market, no customer has to migrate as a result of the transaction.

Soutron Global now sells to libraries, archives and museums in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and services more than 7,000 U.S. public libraries.
